I’m Joseph Lane, founder and CEO of Mortgage Lane. I’ve spent 9 years in UK mortgage finance, helping people get approved from first-time buyers to self-employed borrowers who don’t fit the standard lending boxes.

Before starting Mortgage Lane, I owned my own letting agency, which I later sold, then worked as a finance broker from 2017. That gave me significant insight into property investment mortgages for buy-to-let and commercial investors.”

Since founding Mortgage Lane in 2021, I’ve focused on specialist Buy-to-Let, Development Finance, Bridging, HMO, Serviced Accommodation & Holiday Lets, second charges, and mortgages for properties owned in Trust, including offshore trusts.
