Your cookie choices
Cookies and similar technologies store information on your device or access information already stored there. We use a necessary cookie to remember your choices. Videos, third-party mortgage comparisons, customer reviews from Trustindex and offline browsing storage are optional and are off until you allow them.
You can accept all, reject all optional features or choose each feature separately. Closing the settings without saving does not give consent. The general enquiry form and our own calculators work without optional features.

Optional YouTube videos
Allowing videos lets embedded YouTube players load when you press play. Until then, the page displays a link instead of contacting the video provider. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain, youtube-nocookie.com; this does not mean that playing a video is free of third-party processing or storage.
When a player loads, Google / YouTube receives browser and connection information, including your IP address, and information about playback. Provider storage depends on the player, browser and any existing Google session.
Optional mortgage comparisons
MortgageQuote, a trading style of Quarkly Ltd, provides the third-party mortgage comparison table. Its script is loaded from frontend.mortgage-quote.me only if you allow mortgage comparisons. It receives browser connection information and the property value, loan amount and term supplied to the comparison. Information you enter into its tools may be processed by that provider.
The provider controls any storage used by its service. Its cookie names and durations can change; they are not first-party cookies set by our enquiry form.
Optional customer reviews
Trustindex Ltd, a company based in Hungary, provides the widgets that show our Google reviews and our Top Rated badge. Their scripts, styles and review content are loaded from cdn.trustindex.io only if you allow customer reviews, and the reviewers’ Google profile pictures are loaded from lh3.googleusercontent.com. Until then, the page shows a link to our reviews on the Trustindex website instead of contacting Trustindex.
When a widget loads, Trustindex and Google receive browser and connection information, including your IP address. Trustindex controls any storage its widgets use, such as session storage while the page is open, and its names and durations can change. Following the reviews link opens the Trustindex website, where its own cookie choices apply.
Optional offline browsing
If you allow offline browsing, your browser saves copies of visited public pages and the files needed to display them. This helps previously loaded content remain available if your connection fails.
This cache is not an analytics profile. Enquiry submissions and requests to manage the website are excluded. It has no fixed time-based expiry: a site version update replaces old caches, your browser may remove them, and withdrawing offline permission removes this website’s offline cache.
Other website services
No analytics or advertising tags are currently installed in this website. Our own calculators run locally in the browser. Elastic Email handles enquiry notifications on the server; submitting the contact form does not load an Elastic Email tracking script in your browser.
Our WhatsApp and social buttons are links to external services, not embedded tracking widgets. Those services’ own cookie choices apply after you open them. Unless you allow customer reviews, our reviews appear only as a link to the Trustindex website.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Open Cookie settings in the footer of any page to review or change your choices. Withdrawing a previously allowed video, comparison or customer reviews feature reloads the page to stop its running content. Withdrawing offline browsing removes the saved offline copies and stops the website saving new ones.
We cannot remove cookies stored on another provider’s domain. You can remove those through your browser’s site-data settings. Your browser can also block cookies, but if it prevents our preference cookie being saved we may ask again on a later visit. A saved choice expires after 180 days; significant changes to the available choices may also prompt a new request.
